Quartuor Muros

for vnthi

Candelabrum of thoughts
 inside four walls
of mausoleum
 spews light
lighting dark yester
 ignominies.
Innate questions
 gyrate inside
censuring sorts and likes.

 Who are you?
  &
 Who am I?

Then gone as dispersing soot

Ebony forms consuming
Darkness by night

 Yes, that’s what we are.
That’s what we are!!
 Is that what we are?

Doubts, oodles of them
 orchestrate in unison
keeping me captive;
 Lost myself to defining
and defying truth, standing
 At a vortex's mouth
expecting another free fall
 all inside medieval astylar

All

Within my four walls.

Art work courtesy my bro. He captures the essence like no other..thanks broah

All you poetry seems to emerge from one central emotion or experience... I've been trying to tap that source.. But as Nizzim Ezekiel had once said, at the bottom of it is darkness which can never be brought to light!

Ahh, this is past somber. Quite near-desolation, I reckon. Such memory-triggering contemplations can rip a soul, a purpose, apart.

Lost myself to defining
and defying truth

A cyclic malady. *wistful sigh*

Lines beautiful in their intensity, dear. ^_^

Sorry to be a pain but is'nt it 'Quatuor'?

The desolation brings to fore Descartes' "I think therefore I am."

Yeah, it would do me and a whole lot others a world of good too, to remember this! :D

I like how you've used words to mould and express sheer desperation/desolation.

Nice artwork. Quite apt! :)

V, I normally love your poetry but this time I didn't get the handle on your words. Though some images are innovatively juxtaposed, I felt it had your customary smoothness missing. I hope you're friends above won't crucify me for this comment. By the way I may be in Bonn between May 18 and 22 for Bonn Indien Theatre Festival. Where do you stay? :-))
